چکیده

The chemo-rheological properties of crumb rubber modified bitumen are always unstable due to the mutable and uncontrollable swelling-degradation degree in matrix. study aimed at exploring continuous swelling degradation behaviors (CRMB) considering influence size through monitoring dynamic viscosity changes CRMB binders. Moreover, synergistic effects on chemical rheological were investigated. results revealed that significantly influenced CRMB. reduction shortened equilibrium time, while increased related dramatically. during process, decrease could accelerate rate, increase maximum reduce time Meanwhile, high large beneficial enhance temperature properties, binder with showed better low-temperature property, workability wider Newtonian flow region. Furthermore, promoted formation free hydroxide groups, aldehydes, carboxylic acids esters, process average molecular weight whole liquid phase binder. outputs from this fundamental provide guidance preparation conditions optimization binders different viscous property standards.

Influence of Rubber Size on Properties of Crumb Rubber Mortars

Studies on the properties and applications of rubber cement-based materials are well documented. The sizes of rubbers used in these materials varied. However, information about the effects of rubber size on the properties of rubber cement-based materials, especially pore structure, mechanical strengths, and drying shrinkage properties, remains limited. Three groups of rubber with major particle...

Rheological properties of modified Bitumen: Comparison of waste polymers’ performance

In this investigation, rheological properties of three different polymer-modified bitumen compounds containing recycled polyethylene terephthalate (R-PET), crumb rubber (CR) and poly (styrene-butadiene-styrene) (SBS) are evaluated and compared. The modified samples were tested by a dynamic shear rheometer (DSR) where complex modulus (G*), phase angle (δ) and rutting resistance (G*/Sinδ) of spec...

Effect of Reclaimed rubber Modification on the Rheological Properties and Rutting Resistance of Asphalt Binders

In this paper, the effect of reclaimed rubber modification on the rheological characteristics of asphalt binders is studied. Reclaimed rubber with the extent of 12, 16 and 20 is added to the neat asphalt binder and then shear complex modulus is obtained for neat and modified asphalt binder via Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) test. Using Christensen-Anderson- Marasteanu (CAM) model, master curves ...
